The Mountain View College First Year Experience is designed to assist first-time-in-college students in making a successful transition to college throughout their first year of attendance. The program offers a variety of services to the first year student within a case-managed framework.

Services include First Year Experience program orientation, initial and continuing academic advisement, degree planning and mapping, registration assistance, financial aid application assistance, mentoring, and opportunities for the student to participate in community and social events, along with enrichment opportunities via programs workshop/seminars.
