The Social Science Department is comprised of dedicated, academically prepared faculty committed to meeting the needs  of the diverse student population of Mountain View College by providing college transfer courses with high academic standards and expectations of student performance and behavior through a variety of methods including lecture/discussion, large group, distance learning, and self paced instruction and through  institutional, community and student service.
