 Title : Program Description (1) | | Professional Development is important for all MVC employees. All fulltime and limited fulltime employees are expected to complete professional development credit each academic year. The professional development requirements for the 2009-2010 year are 30 hours.
MVC Professional Development is designed to give employees credit for activities many are already participating in.
Required Activities:
Fall Welcome Back
Spring Return Day
DCCCD Conference Day
Cultural Events - Attendance at two different events
To reach the required hours, employees are to particiapte in additional professional development activities between the beginning of Return Week 2009 and the end of Summer II 2010. Records are maintained for all full time employees. Employees may check their professional development hours by contacting the professional development office.
All requests for professional development must be approved by the employee’s supervisor.
