Use of A/V Equipment

A wide range of equipment from easels to video gear is available. Requests may be submitted via telephone, intercampus mail, or e-mail. In all cases, a "Distribution Request Form" is used to record your request.  "Distribution Request Forms" are available at the Media Services counter (W138), in your division office, or we will supply blank forms at your request.

When possible, please make requests three (3) working days before the date of use to avoid conflicts in scheduling materials and equipment.

On Campus Use

Most of the time, you will be asking to use equipment and/or materials in a campus classroom at a specific time. We will deliver and pick up materials and equipment.

Off-Campus Use

A/V equipment and non-print materials may be checked out for off-campus use by staff; however, such use must be directly related to your job responsibilities at Mountain View. Unfortunately, we cannot provide equipment or materials for personal use. The Media Coordinator's signature is required on a special form for off-campus use of equipment and materials.

Equipment Training

Please don't let the technology of a/v equipment prevent you from using it. We have people and materials available to train staff and students. Please call us for free demonstrations.

Equipment Repair and Maintenance

Malfunctioning equipment should be reported promptly. A note taped to the equipment giving a simple description of the symptom will help us return equipment to service promptly.
