Planning, Budgeting, and Assessment (PBA) Committee
Charge The PBA Committee develops and maintains the “Mountain View College Five-Year Strategic Plan” that guides college operational planning, resource allocation, assessment of institutional effectiveness, grant submissions, and other new initiatives. The Committee ensures that annual college operational and budget priorities are determined and communicated based upon the “Strategic Plan” and annual assessment of institutional effectiveness. The Committee institutes and facilitates a systematic annual cycle of planning, budgeting, and assessment of unit effectiveness for all operational units. The Planning, Budgeting, and Assessment Committee makes certain that the college complies with DCCCD Strategic Plan Key Measures, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Accountability Measures, the Commission on Colleges (SACS) criteria, and all other external accountability.
