Edwarttz NashOak Cliff resident hopes to make a difference in the classroom
In 1972, Edwarttz Nash was drafted into the United States Army at the tender age of 20. Three combat ribbons and 20 years later, Nash retired from military service and returned to his home town of Oak Cliff to enjoy life as a private citizen.

Communications and Teacher Education Division
The Communications Teacher Education Division at Mountain View College houses academic disciplines focused on communication and teacher education. These include disciplines such as English, Developmental Reading/Writing, Speech, Spanish, French, Education, whose goal is to improve students’ ability to communicate with the world around them through reading, writing, speaking, and teaching the English language (ESOL) and produce teachers who are competent in their area of specialization.

The Mountain View College Speech program is committed to developing the full potential of students through study, practice, and criticism of Human Communication. It is our purpose to create an educational environment that will allow students to explore the impact of communication upon individuals, organizations, and societies.
